Later this year (31st December), CyberArk will announce the end of support (EoS) for the PM Terminal and its replacement with the Terminal Plugin Controller (TPC). Customers using PMTerminal will need to start to think about their migration plan to TPC.
PMTerminal was an engine used to develop plugins for terminal cases over SSH or Telnet, or when running a script. TPC is a newer engine that was developed to replace PMTerminal and provides enhanced capabilities. TPC comes with the CyberArk Core Privileged Access Security Solution (Core PAS) 9.7+
Although TPC supports most functionality of PMTerminal, there are some exceptions and also some situations where plugin features are implemented in a different way, compared to PMTerminal.
CyberArk suggests that customers impacted by this announcement should start a migration process from PMTerminal to Terminal Plugin Controller. Some of the updates include:
