About this role
We are looking for an ambitious Partner Manager to join our sales team in Chester, UK,to play a key role in driving revenue growth by managing and expanding our relationships with our partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and channel management, with a strong skillset in working with people and building relationships and an eagerness to travel to partner events, both inside the UK and abroad.
What you’ll do
1. Partner Relationship Management:
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, including value-added resellers (VARs), system integrators, and technology partners
- Nurture and strengthen existing partner relationships within the business, ensuring their success and satisfaction
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint business plans and strategies for mutual growth
2. Pipeline Development:
- Work closely with partners to identify and qualify new business opportunities for our sales team
- Collaborate and facilitate pipeline development for the internal sales teams
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to partner-generated pipeline and revenue
3. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue targets through the partner channel
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to inform strategic decision-making
4. Collaboration:
- Foster strong collaboration between sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment in messaging, goals, and strategies
- Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams to address any issues/challenges and opportunities for collaboration
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have
- 2+ years of experience in sales or recruitment or similar customer-facing role
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with partners
- Strong networking capability and ability to engage with partners, at various levels
- Willingness to travel to partner events, both inside and outside the UK. About 2-3 international trips per year, across USA and Europe predominantly
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent adaptability and problem-solving skills
About you and your background
- You should have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools (i.e. HubSpot)
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management and Privileged Access Management concepts advantageous
