About this role

We are seeking a high-performing Account Manager with a strong focus on new business generation (hunting) while also supporting and expanding existing client accounts (farming). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment, with experience in building trusted partnerships and identifying commercial opportunities across enterprise clients.

 

You’ll work closely with the wider sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to manage the full sales cycle, contribute to business strategy, and ensure client success in the IAM and PAM space.

Key Responsibilities

As an Account Manager at CyberIAM, you will:

 

  • Actively prospect, identify, and pursue new enterprise client opportunities within the IAM and PAM market.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through to negotiation and close.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your account base, delivering continuous value to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including pre-sales, delivery, marketing, and leadership to align client needs with CyberIAM’s services.
  • Develop and maintain account plans to drive revenue growth, retention, and client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on market and industry trends to shape sales strategies and articulate CyberIAM’s value proposition.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date CRM tracking and pipeline forecasting using HubSpot.
  • Represent CyberIAM at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings.

What we’re looking for

We want to hear from you if you have:

 

  • A proven track record in enterprise software sales, with a strong emphasis on new business acquisition.
  • Demonstrable experience managing and growing key accounts, ideally in the cybersecurity or tech sector.
  • Confidence in engaging senior-level stakeholders, including CISOs, CTOs, and Procurement leads.
  • Excellent relationship-building and client-facing communication skills.
  • Experience selling IAM/PAM solutions such as CyberArk, SailPoint, BeyondTrust, Saviynt, Okta, or Ping is highly advantageous.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving ability, and commercial awareness.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in maintaining accurate sales records.
  • A self-driven, proactive, and target-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and prospecting tools like Lusha.

  • Proven success in hunting and securing new high-value business.
  • Ability to farm and expand strategic enterprise accounts through upselling and relationship management.
  • Confidence in navigating complex sales cycles and stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in building trusted advisor relationships with enterprise clients.
  • Familiarity with IAM, PAM, and cybersecurity technologies is a plus.
  • Strategic, goal-oriented, and metrics-driven mindset.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional internal teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Alex is the Chief Technology Officer at CyberIAM, where he is currently spearheading the delivery of cutting-edge software solutions. With over 21 years of experience in the software engineering field, he has spent the last 15 years exclusively in the Cyber Security IAM industry. Alex has vast experience working with high-availability systems that handle millions of records and hundreds of thousands of users, in addition to his proficiency in a variety of other software solutions for cloud applications, enterprise systems, integration layers, and mobile apps. He has led the development of bespoke IAM solutions, as well as integration layers to bridge multiple vendor technologies together.
