About this role
We’re looking for a Technical Consultant Intern to join our growing team in Century City, Cape Town.
This internship is designed for individuals who have a Matric qualification (or equivalent) and a strong interest in technology, even if they have not had the opportunity to pursue a formal tertiary degree.
At CyberIAM, we believe in developing talent from the ground up. You will receive hands-on training in Managed Services and consulting support, along with structured learning in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
Our goal is to equip you with the technical and professional skills required to build a long-term career in cybersecurity and consulting.
Key Responsibilites
As a Technical Consultant Intern at CyberIAM, you will:
- Provide first-line support to our clients, assisting with technical issues and troubleshooting requests.
- Work closely with the Managed Services team to deliver service excellence to clients across the UK and Europe.
- Assist with system monitoring, user administration, and access management tasks.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of IAM and PAM solutions under supervision
- Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
- Learn and apply new technologies as part of your structured training and mentorship.
What we’re looking for
- A Matric qualification, certificate, or diploma (a university degree is not required).
- Basic experience with programming languages and an interest in coding.
- A positive attitude, strong aptitude, and eagerness to learn.
- Enthusiasm for building a career in Managed Services and cybersecurity.
- Curiosity and a willingness to embrace new technologies and challenges.
